Join industrial archaeologist and historian Steve Little to find out more about his collection of papers and notes relating to Manchester’s architectural and industrial past that he has gifted to the Portico Library.

The collection is Steve’s working notes built up over 50 years and is one of the most comprehensive resources about Manchester social history available. Steve will be in conversation with collections and access librarian Alice Measom to talk about Manchester’s social and built history as well as how working documents become an archive to be used by historians and researchers.
