Preserving Food: Zine Making Workshop FULLY BOOKED

  • The Portico Library 57 Mosley Street Manchester, England, M2 3HY United Kingdom (map)

Free. Book here.

Zines are self-published works, with a small run of copies available. They have been a way for communities and individuals to document and disseminate ideas, information, creative outputs independently from mainstream means of publication.

They are free, accessible, and open to all.

Over the course of 14 weeks, writing workshops have invited participants to reflect on what we eat, how we eat, where we eat and who we eat with. Art and creativity workshops have explored the memories of meals past and have produced drawings.

You are invited to curate and assemble your zine from shared stories, recipes, poems, illustrations, and extracts from books that are part of the exhibition.
