Join us to celebrate the publication of Into the Wilds and find out more about a new northern publisher Fox & Windmill.

The Portico Library welcomes newly formed publishers Fox & Windmill from Bradford to share stories from Into the Wilds, an Anthology of short stories and poetry from British South Asian writers. Into The Wilds is a collection of real, gripping and heartfelt stories and poetry that explores themes across family, love and identity. With an introduction from award-winning journalist Saima Mir and work from Costa nominated author, Sairish Hussain and award-winning poet, Zaffar Kunial, this anthology is a remarkable debut from a new Northern Indie.

Tickets are £3 and available here or on the door.

This is the second event in the Arts Council England funded series Rewriting the North, which celebrates Northern writing, and is hosted by Dr David Cooper from the Centre for Place Writing, Manchester Metropolitan University.
